Delete your account

Two ways to do it. The first is instant and does not need us.

In the app — takes a few seconds

Open Taxledger
Go to Settings
Tap Delete all data at the bottom
Confirm Delete everything

Your records are erased from the server first, then your account, then the phone — and the app stops if any step fails rather than leaving one copy behind.

By email — if you no longer have the app

Write to hello@mrbooz.com from the email address you signed in with, asking for your account to be deleted. We match on that address, so a request from another address cannot delete your account.

Requests are actioned within 30 days, usually far sooner.

What gets deleted

Your account and everything held with it: your Google account identifier, email address and display name.
Every trip, expense, vehicle and remembered route held in your account.
Everything the app stored on your phone — including receipts and settings — when you delete from inside the app.

Nothing is retained afterwards. Your records are erased from the server first, and only then is the phone cleared — so a failure part-way through can never leave you locked out of data you can no longer reach. See the Privacy Policy.

Two things worth knowing

A copy you made yourself is yours to keep. If you used Backup or exported a CSV, those files are in a folder you chose. We cannot reach them, and deleting your account does not remove them.
Your subscription is separate. Subscriptions are billed by Google Play, so cancel it in the Play Store — deleting your account here does not cancel it. Play Store → profile → Payments and subscriptions → Subscriptions.
